The Dixie Youth Baseball District 2 Majors Tournament begins Saturday in Tabor City, and Bladen County will play Whiteville American at 4 p.m. in the opening round. Keith Wren is the head coach of the Bladen County team.
The double-elimination tournament will continue daily through Wednesday. An if-necessary game would be played on Thursday. Other opening round games Saturday include South Columbus vs. Columbus County at 2 p.m., and Riegelwood vs. Whiteville National at 6 p.m.
