LUMBERTON – East Bladen will play South View Wednesday at 5 p.m. in the Battle of the Carolinas Football Jamboree at Lumberton High School.
Coach Robby Priest’s Eagles were originally slated to play Purnell Swett in the Jamboree but the Rams had a player test positive for COVID-19 last week and the team has been quarantined until April 19th. East Bladen then was matched against Rocky Point Trask, but that opponent was changed Tuesday morning to South View.
The Eagles and Tigers will open the Jamboree at 5 p.m. followed by Gray’s Creek vs. Terry Sanford at 6 p.m., Fairmont vs. Rocky Point Trask at 7 p.m. and South View vs. Red springs at 8 p.m.
East Bladen was allotted 100 discounted tickets priced at $5 each that are available from Coach Priest or at the East Bladen front office. Tickets will be $7 at the gate. Each scrimmage will consist of 2 20-minute halves with a running clock.
