East Bladen football mom Shannon Meares has set up a gofundme page to help raise money for the pre-game meals for this season’s Eagle varsity and jayvee football teams and cheerleaders.

According to Mrs. Meares, it costs over $100 per game to feed the players a meal before each game. The goal for the page is to raise $1,000, and all proceeds raised will go toward the pre-game meals.

“We want to ensure that all players and cheerleaders receive the nourishment needed to be able to feel and do their best!” said Mrs. Meares in her post on the page. “It is often late when these games get over and sometimes the meal provided to them before the game is their supper.”
