The East Bladen and West Bladen boys’ soccer teams will open the fall high school sports season Aug. 16 as teams are scheduled to play at their more accustomed time of the year following the COVID-19 affected 2020-21 seasons.
West Bladen is scheduled to host West Columbus at 6 p.m. and East Bladen is scheduled to play at South Columbus at 5 p.m. on Aug. 16.
Volleyball is slated to open Aug. 17 with junior varsity games at 4:30 p.m. and varsity games to follow. East Bladen is scheduled to host North Brunswick. West Bladen is slated to open its season Aug. 18 at home against West Columbus.
The West Bladen girls’ tennis team is scheduled to play at West Columbus at 4 p.m. on Aug. 17. East Bladen’s first match is scheduled for Aug. 24 at home against Clinton.
Junior varsity football games are slated Aug. 19 with West Bladen at home against South Columbus and East Bladen at Wallace-Rose Hill. The varsity football teams are scheduled to play Aug. 20 with West Bladen at South Columbus and Wallace-Rose Hill at East Bladen.
East Bladen and West Bladen are in the Southeastern 2-A Conference with Clinton, Fairmont, Midway, Red Springs and St. Pauls.
