living a healthier life. Bladen County Health Department and N.C. Cooperative Extension – Bladen County
Center would love to assist you in starting the decade out right by bringing Faithful Families Thriving
Communities programming to your community.
We are currently recruiting churches or faith based organization to host Faithful Families Thriving
Communities program. This program works directly in communities of faith to promote health for
individuals, families, and local communities. The program is open to all faith and religious traditions. Classes have been proven to empower congregations and individuals to make simple changes to help them eat smart, move more, and prevent chronic disease. The program provides individuals, families, and communities with the skills to be able to eat more meals at home, move more in their everyday routine, and help their communities lead healthier lives.
