DUBLIN – Bladen Community College will welcome hundreds of students to campus as the fall semester registration begins next week.

“The staff and faculty of BCC are always energized when students return to campus in the fall,” said Jeff Kornegay, Executive Vice President and Chief Academic Officer. “The excitement of new opportunities and new beginnings prevails among everyone here.”

The Career and College Promise Program is expected to bring the greatest influx of high school students yet to campus.

“We have an excellent collaborative relationship with the public school system,” said Barry Priest, Vice President for Student Services. “High school students can take transferrable college credits while simultaneously receiving high school course credits.”

Additionally, the college will enroll an estimated 70 to 80 Career and Technical Education (CTE) students.

“Our semester enrollment for students in continuing education and workforce development training is typically very strong,” said Sondra Guyton, Vice President for Workforce and Continuing Education. “Our allied health and EMS curricula continue to be among the most successful programs we offer.”

Registration is scheduled July 12-13. A welcome and information tent will greet visitors near Student Services (Building 2), providing information packets, tours, and other college materials.

With classes in Dublin and East Arcadia, Bladen Community College provides a way for students to get the educational opportunities they need.
