Three East Bladen Lady Eagles and two West Bladen Lady Knights have been chosen to the All-Four County Conference Softball Team.

The Lady Eagles selected were senior Lexi Dawson and juniors Lacey Suggs and Miller Heustess. Named to the honor squad from West Bladen were seniors Morgan Sweeney and Nicole Wyatt.

Dawson supplied power and a consistent bat as the Lady Eagles posted a 14-6 record and earned the top Class 2-A play-off seed from the Four County.  Dawson anchored the East Bladen defense from her catching position.

The speedy Suggs ignited the Lady Eagle offense from her lead-off spot and led the team in stolen bases. Suggs covered a great deal of the outfield from her centerfield position when she was not pitching.

Heustess handled the bulk of the pitching duties for the Lady Eagles. The righthander pitched a 6-hitter and struck out four in the 5-3 victory over Wallace-Rose Hill that locked up the No. 1 seed for East Bladen.

Wyatt was the ace pitcher for West Bladen posting an 11-9 record and striking out 119 batters in 117 innings.  At the plate Wyatt batted .444 with a slugging percentage of  .638.

Sweeney, the Lady Knight shortstop, cracked 34 hits and batted a sizzling .500 with 2 home runs and a .794 slugging percentage. In four appearances in the circle, Sweeney posted a win and 2 saves.
