Flood waters continued to interfere in Carver’s Creek on Tuesday, October 11th. Elwell Ferry Road has significant damage and is flooded. It will continue to be closed for travelers.
Oakland Plantation Turf Farm reports still having issues related to the hurricane. The farm continues to work without landline service and Internet.
The farm’s office manager, Marilyn Beck said, “We haven’t been able to get in field since last Thursday. We didn’t have structural damage but our fields are to wet. We hope to be able to get back in field tomorrow.”
