On Sunday afternoon, neighborhoods were inundated with flood waters. A lineman with Four County Electric was out attempting to make repairs in a flooded neighborhood along NC 211 near Bladenboro.
Lee said NC 211 near Richardson Road was flooded on Sunday.
Bladen County had received more than three feet of rain as of 2 p.m. on Sunday. The Cape Fear River is forecast to crest on Tuesday at major flood stage. Mandatory evacuations have been ordered for residents living along the Cape Fear River, Tar Heel Ferry Road, Burney Road, River Road and the Kelly and Rowan communities.
