RALEIGH: Governor Roy Cooper signed the following bills into law today:

House Bill 73: Temporarily Waive ABC Permit Renewal Fees
House Bill 312: Qualifications for Sheriff/Expunction
Senate Bill 507: Modify Business Corporation Act
House Bill 554: Designate 2023 as Year of the Trail
House Bill 121: Clarify EQIP Funding/Dredging Cost-Share
Governor Cooper made the following statement on HB 73:

“The hospitality industry, restaurants and bars hit hard by the pandemic need this boost as we continue working to recover and grow our economy.”
