DUBLIN – West Columbus defeated West Bladen 10-1 Friday in Three Rivers Conference jayvee baseball action.
West Columbus capitalized on 15 walks, 7 errors and only one hit to score their ten runs.
The Knights pushed across a run in the fourth inning. Sophmore Chris Bailey drew a lead-off walk, and junior Jeremy Pait belted a single. Freshman Jadecus Register reached base on an error to load the bases, and sophmore Lucas Williams’ sacrifice fly scored Bailey.
Freshman Andrew Pait started on the mound for West Bladen and pitched into the third inning. Register came on in relief in the third and pitched the final 3 innings.
West Bladen will travel to St. Pauls Tuesday.Share:
