BLADENBORO – Kelsey Robinson and Cade Allen combined for 19 points Monday to lead West Bladen to a 29-23 Southeastern Athletic Conference jayvee boys’ basketball victory over East Bladen.
Robinson scored 8 of his team-high 10 points in the 2nd half, while Allen pumped in 9 points. Teammate Noah Hall added 7 points to the Knight attack. Center Rodney Lacewell dropped in 10 points for the Eagles, while Zac Metz followed with 7 points.

Darius Williamson threw in a basket and 2 free throws in the opening quarter, and Metz drilled in a 3-point shot as the Eagles built a 9-6 lead. Allen tossed in a basket and 2 free throws to keep West close.
Hall rallied the Knights with 2 baskets and a free throw in the 2nd period, and Robinson popped in a basket as West forged ahead 13-11 at halftime.
Robinson sparked a 9-3 West 3rd quarter spurt with 2 baskets and a free throw. Allen and Conner Monroe contributed baskets as the Knight lead grew to 22-14.
Robinson buried a 3-point shot, and Allen sank a trio of free throws in the final period to keep the Knights on top. Lacewell muscled in 2 baskets and a free throw in the 4th quarter for the Eagles.
Coach Matt Hill’s Knights will host Fairmont Wednesday at 4:30. The Eagles, now 4-4 overall and 1-2 in SAC-7 play, will travel to St. Pauls Tuesday at 4:30.
