BLADENBORO – Darwin Garcia and Kevin Sebastian scored 2 goals each to lead West Bladen to a 4-0 victory over Red Springs Thursday in Southeastern Athletic Conference jayvee boys’ soccer action.
The Knights scored two goals in each half. Sophomore Bryant Ortiz-Aguilar dished out an assist for the winners. Freshman Dylan Hernandez recorded the shutout with 10 saves in goal. Ortiz-Aguilar was credited with 4 steals, and Enrique Rodriguez-Gonzalez and Michael Reyes-Maldonado finished with 3 steals each.
Coach Kristen Parker’s Knights improved to 7-3 and will travel to St. Pauls Monday.
