LAKE WACCAMAW – MaKayla Dixon fired in 11 points Friday to lead East Bladen to a 22-20 Three Rivers Conference jayvee girls basketball victory over East Columbus.
The Lady Eagles trailed 11-9 at halftime but moved ahead 15-13 in the third quarter then widened the gap to 21-15 behind 3 baskets from Dixon in the final period. Brianna Phillips added 3 points.
Coach Megan Kirby’s Lady Eagles improved to 8-6 in league play and 10-6 overall. East Bladen will host West Bladen Friday in their final regular season game.
