ELIZABETHTOWN – Sophomore Mariah Smith fired in 13 points Friday night to lead East Bladen’s Lady Eagles to a 25-19 Three Rivers Conference jayvee girls basketball victory over Red Springs.
Teammate Brianna Phillips tossed in 7 points for the winners who steadily built leads of 5-3, 14-11 and 19-15.
Coach Megan Kirby’s Lady Eagles improved to 5-4 in Three Rivers Conference play and 7-4 on the season and will travel to West Bladen Monday.
