East Bladen High SchoolST. PAULS – Sophomore Jay McGill and freshman Will Hester combined for 2 goals and 3 assists to lead East Bladen to a 3-2 Three Rivers Conference jayvee soccer victory over St. Pauls Wednesday night.

Hester dished out 2 assists to go with his goal, and McGill added a goal and an assist. Freshman Milton Estrada knocked in the other Eagle goal. East Bladen led 3-0 at halftime.

“We dominated and completely controlled the first half,” said Eagle Coach Jay Raynor. “We played really good soccer for the first 35 minutes, but St. Pauls became the aggressor and capitalized on some miscues in the back but the guys held on. Our guys played well and continue to get better every day.”

The Eagle jayvees improved to 3-0-1 in league play and 5-0-2 overall.
