BLADENBORO – Sophomore Enrique Rodriguez-Gonzalez fired in 2 goals and West Bladen’s jayvees pulled away with a trio of 2nd half goals to complete their season with a 5-1 Southeastern Athletic Conference JV soccer victory over Red Springs.
Shandell Gonzalez and sophomores Kevin Rojas-Rojas and Gerson Verdugo-Roblero knocked in 1 goal each for the Knights. Rojas-Rojas and sophomore Jennsen Santana Martinez dished out 1 assist each for the winners. Rodriguez-Gonzalez led the West attack with 3 shots on goal.
John Randy Reyes-Garcia and sophomore Miles Bullard sparked the Knight defense with 4 steals each. Freshmen Cristian Rodriguez Gonzalez and Uziel Ramirez-Sanchez finished with 3 steals each. Freshman Noah German posted the victory in goal for the West and had 4 saves.
The Knight jayvees posted a 2-5-1 SAC-6 record and 4-10-2 overall mark.
