TABOR CITY- South Columbus defeated West Bladen 16-3 Wednesday in non-conference softball action.

Freshman Kasee Singletary slammed a double to rightfield to lead off the game for West, and sophmore Erica McKoy reached base on an error. Both runners came around to score the first two Lady Knight runs.

Singletary belted a one-out single in the third inning and raced home when pitcher Brittany Landreth hammered a double.

Singletary batted 2-2 with the 2 runs scored to lead the Lady Knight hitters. Landreth clubbed the run-scoring double. Indiyah Williams belted the other West Bladen hit. McKoy scored a run.

The Lady Knights are now 4-4 on the season and will travel to East Bladen Tuesday for a 4 p.m. game.
