BLADENBORO – Clinton defeated West Bladen 2-0 in Southeastern Athletic Conference junior varsity action Tuesday by set scores of 25-22 and 25-13.
Freshman Marlene Crabtree fired in 3 kills, 4 service points and an ace to lead the Lady Knights. Maddie Walters racked up 2 aces, 2 service points, a kill and a dig. Shanyla Hunter knocked in 3 service points and had 2 digs.
Kaitlyn Brisson hammered in 3 kills and 2 service points for West. Marlie Walters pounded in 2 kills and a service point, and Karly Ross dished out 2 assists.
The Lady Knight jayvees are now 3-2 in conference play and 6-3 overall. West Bladen will travel to Whiteville Wednesday at 4:30.
