ELIZABETHTOWN – East Bladen swept West Columbus 2-0 Tuesday in Three Rivers Conference jayvee volleyball action.

The Lady Eagles cruised to the victory with set wins of 25-9 and 25-11. Freshman Emma Turbeville blasted in 18 service points and 14 aces to lead the winners. Freshman AnnaGrey Heustess pounded in 9 aces, 9 service points and 6 kills.
Freshman Maegan Burney knocked in 4 service points, 2 aces and a kill for the Lady Eagles. Kaitlyn Jackson fired in 2 service points and an ace, and Cydney Campbell slammed in a kill.
The Lady Eagles evened their league record at 2-2 and are 2-3 overall.
Thursday’s game at Fairmont has been postponed by Hurricane Dorian.
East Bladen is scheduled to return to action Monday against Clinton.
