BLADENBORO – South Columbus defeated West Bladen 2-0 Monday in non-conference jayvee volleyball action by set scores of 25-18 and 25-22.
Lady Knight freshman Ellie Kinlaw hammered in 9 kills, 3 service points, an ace and had a dig. Sophomore Kali Allen dished out 4 assists and had 2 digs and 2 service points. Shanna Lewis fired in 7 service points.
Kimberly Dowless smacked in 2 kills, 2 service points and handed out 3 assists for West. Sophomore Makenna Thurman slammed in 4 kills and a block. Freshman Karlee Gause knocked in 2 kills, an ace and and another service point.
Sophomore Jahyra Priest smashed in a kill, an ace and another service point for the Lady Knights. Helaina Conklin smoked in an ace, and Brenna Hester tallied a service point.
West Bladen, now 4-3, will host East Columbus Tuesday at 4:30.
