DUNN – Midway defeated East Bladen 2-0 Monday in non-conference jayvee volleyball action by set scores of 25-11 and 25-17.
East sophomore Mileigh Martin fired in 5 service points in the 2nd set to trim a 20-12 Midway lead to 21-17. Freshman Kaylie Atkins tallied 3 of her 4 service points in the opening set. Freshman Marlee Potter finished with 3 service points, and freshman Taylor Dowless added a service point.
East Bladen, now 1-4, will host Wallace-Rose Hill Tuesday at 4:30.
