Bladen County golfer Kayla Thompson is participating, starting June 10, in the Ohio Women’s Open Golf Championship being held at Eagle Rock Golf Club in Defiance, Ohio. Kayla will be going off the first tee at 9 a.m. on Monday. She will be playing with Jessica Welch and Brianna Jones.
Kayla is a West Bladen graduate from Clarkton. She played four years on the golf team at UNCW.
