Kayla Thompson, former West Bladen golfer from Clarkton, placed third in the recent William and Mary Tourney held at Williamsburg, Virginia.
Kayla shot 82-78-78=238. Kayla, a junior, plays for the University of North Carolina at Wilmington ladies golf team.
The next tournament for UNCW will be the Furman Lady Paladin Invitational to be played on September 23.
