The Kelly Spring Fest has been canceled because of the restrictions on gatherings enacted to try to contain the spread of coronavirus.
The event had been scheduled April 25 at Kelly Ball Field.
“We feel that the health and welfare of our community and visitors should come first,” a news release from the festival said. “We appreciate all the people that have been working to help make this event possible, but feel it is in the best interest of everyone that we have made this decision.”
The Kelly Volunteer Fire Department will continue with ticket sales for the ATI Omni Hybrid Maxx P3 Flat Top Semi-Automatic .300 AAC Blackout and the drawing will be held on April 25. The winner will be contacted by a Kelly Volunteer Fire Department member. Tickets are available from members of the Kelly Volunteer Fire Department.
Any craft or food Vendors that have paid their vendor fees will receive their money back.
This year the festival was doing pre-orders for the Spring Fest T-shirts. Sales will continue until April 2.
