CHARLOTTE – East Bladen grad Lexi Dawson batted 2-2 and drove in 2 runs Saturday as her St. Andrews College Lady Knights closed out their season with a 12-5 victory over Johnson C. Smith in the second game of a double-header.
The Lady Knights also took the first game of Saturday’s double-header 3-0 to finish with a 17-30 record for the season.
Dawson started 25 games and played in 32 games mostly at first base. The Garland native belted 15 hits and 4 doubles, scored 7 runs and drove in four. The freshman first baseman posted a .211 batting average and a .268 slugging percentage.
