Three West Bladen softball players are members of the Lumberton Dixie Belles All-Stars who beat Hope Mills 24-7 Sunday to win the Dixie Belles Softball District 6 championship.
Carley Dawson walloped a 2-run triple and batted 3-4 in the title game with 3 runs batted in. Conner Brisson slammed a 2-run double and finished 2-4 at the plate with 2 rbi’s. Abby Dawson was the other West Bladen player on the Lumberton All-Star team.
Lumberton and Hope Mills will both advance to the Dixie Belles State Tournament July 1st in Ash, NC.
