WHITEVILLE – Salvador Gonzalez and Omar Powell fired in 2 goals each to lead Clarkton School of Discovery to a 5-2 Waccamaw Middle School Conference boys’ soccer victory over Whiteville Central Thursday.
Gonzalez and Powell hammered in 1st half goals as the Blue Devils built a 2-0 halftime lead. Powell, Gonzalez and Noah White knocked in 2nd half goals for Clarkton.
The Blue Devils improved to 5-3 and will visit Bladenboro Monday.
