CLARKTON – Andrio Garcia lit up the scoreboard with a ‘Hat Trick’ plus one of 4 goals Tuesday to lead Elizabethtown to a 7-0 Waccamaw Middle School Conference boys’ soccer victory over Clarkton School of Discovery.
Garcia achieved the ‘Hat Trick’ with 3 goals in the opening half then tacked on another after intermission. Teammate Ishaq Algozy scored goals in each half as the Cougars built a 4-0 halftime lead. Freddy Valero knocked in another Elizabethtown goal in the 2nd half.
Fox Sutton recorded the shutout in goal for the Cougars.
Coach Larry Williams’ Cougars improved to 2-1 and will entertain Whiteville Wednesday. Clarkton, now 0-3, will host East Columbus Wednesday.
