TAR HEEL– Levi Garcia racked up 1 goal and 1 assist Monday to lead Tar Heel to a 2-0 victory over Clarkton School of Discovery in the Waccamaw Conference boys’ soccer season opener for both teams.
Garcia assisted on Alexander Saraoz’ goal for the Panthers. Dylan McLaurin posted the shutout in goal for Tar Heel and was credited with 5 saves.
Tar Heel will travel to Bladenboro Wednesday. The Blue Devils will entertain Nakina Thursday.
