LAKE WACCAMAW – Fullback Dashon Campbell rushed for over 200 yards and scored 4 touchdowns and a pair of 2-point conversions to lead the Clarkton School of Discovery Blue Devils to a 52-38 Waccamaw Middle School Conference football victory over East Columbus Monday night.

Blue Devil quarterback Keyshawn Kemp rushed for over 100 yards and scored 3 touchdowns and a trio of 2-point conversions. Tailback Nayshawn Jones carried the ball 4 times for 65 yards as Clarkton piled up almost 400 yards rushing.
“Our team played well tonight on both sides of the ball and all their hard work finally payed off,” said CSD Coach Robert Mazur. “I am really proud of this bunch for sticking things out this season. At 2-2-1, we didn’t have the season we’d hoped for, but we learned a lot of lessons along the way and they were not all about football! Proud to be a Blue Devil.”
