BLADENBORO – South Columbus tacked on a pair of late 2nd half touchdowns to open up a 38-14 Waccamaw Middle School Conference victory over Bladenboro in the football opener for both teams.
Devan Haire ran for the 1st Bulldog touchdown, and Sincere McKinley carried into the end zone for the 2-point conversion. McKinley scored the 2nd Bladenboro touchdown on a run to trim the South lead to 22-14.
The Bulldogs will host Tar Heel Thursday night.
