WHITEVILLE – Whiteville Central outscored Tar Heel 38-18 Wednesday night in the Waccamaw Middle School Conference football opener for both teams.
Carnell Lewis rushed for over 150 yards and scored 2 touchdowns to lead the Panther offense. Lewis broke loose and dashed 85 yards for his 1st touchdown then sprinted 65 yards for his 2nd touchdown.
Cedrick McKiver raced 30 yards for the other Tar Heel touchdown.
The Panthers will travel to Bladenboro Thursday, Nov. 9th.
