ELIZABETHTOWN — Landry Singletary fired in 11 points Thursday to lead Elizabethtown Christian Academy to a 25-7 middle school girls’ basketball victory over Fayetteville Home School.
Berkley Collins threw in 6 points for the winners, and Anna Claire Walters and Ava Brisson tossed in 4 points each.
Singletary drained a trio of shots from the right wing to start the game, Collins connected on a pair of baskets, and Walters battled in the paint for a basket and a 12-0 ECA lead.
Ava Brisson popped in a pair of shots from the right baseline, and Walters powered in another basket inside to grow the halftime lead to 18-2.
The visitors trimmed the margin to 18-5, before Singletary delivered another basket from the wing then buried a 3-point shot. Collins drove for the final basket for ECA.
