ELIZABETHTOWN — Isaac Ling keyed a 14-2 3rd period rally that propelled Fayetteville Home School to a 27-19 middle school boys’ basketball victory over Elizabethtown Christian Academy Thursday night.

Ling pumped in 3 baskets and 2 free throws, and teammate Joshua Hall netted a pair of baskets as the Crusaders overcame a 13-8 halftime deficit and took a 22-15 lead.

Isaac Ling led the FHS scoring with 13 points, and Joshua Hall threw in a 3-point shot in the final period and totaled 8 points.

Ernie Highsmith worked the paint for a trio of early baskets, and Tucker Cain added a bucket as the Rams built an early 8-3 lead. Miles Cain drove through the Crusader defense for 2 lay-ups and a free throw that kept the Rams on top 13-8 at halftime.

Tucker Cain tossed in a pair of 2nd half baskets for the Rams, and Miles Cain popped in a basket. Miles Cain led the Rams with 7 points, and Tucker Cain and Highsmith finished with 6 points each.
