ELIZABETHTOWN –Allison Hickman poured in a ‘Hat Trick’ of 3 goals Thursday to lead Bladenboro to the Waccamaw Middle School Conference’s AA Division girls’ soccer championship with a 7-0 victory over Elizabethtown.

Hickman’s 1st goal gave Bladenboro an early lead, and Hadley Dove netted a goal off of an indirect kick with Adyson Carroll picking up an assist. Carroll then smacked in a goal to push the Lady Bulldogs halftime lead to 3-0.

Hickman completed her ‘Hat Trick’ with a pair of goals to begin the 2nd half and widen the gap to 5-0. Chloe Walters and Brooklyn McKee raced to the net and scored unassisted goals, and Addison Wilcox turned an assist from Amiya McCarty-Maxfield into the final goal of the game.

The victory completed an undefeated 9-0 season for the Lady Bulldogs who were 4-0 in AA Division play. Elizabethtown finished the season with a 2-7 record.

“This was a once in a lifetime group of girls,” said Bladenboro Coach Mike Dove. “They played extremely hard for each other in every game.” Dove and Allison Carroll were the Lady Bulldog coaches.
