TABOR CITY – Tatum Allen and Layla Lent drilled in goals that lifted Clarkton School of Discovery to a 2-0 Waccamaw Middle School Conference girls’ soccer victory over Tabor City Tuesday.
Allen turned an assist from Lent into a 1st half goal to put the Lady Blue Devils up 1-0 at halftime. Twenty-one minutes into the 2nd half, Lent knocked in a goal of her own to pad the Clarkton lead to 2-0.
It was the season opener for Coach Jordan Raynor’s Lady Blue Devils who will travel to Bladenboro Thursday.
