TAR HEEL – Tar Heel’s Lady Panthers ran their season-opening winning streak to 3 games Thursday with a 3-0 victory over East Columbus in Waccamaw Middle School Conference girls’ soccer.
Katherine Mejia Rodriguez fired in a 1st half goal for Tar Heel. Kathrine Sanchez Orellana and Lluvia Sanchez Orellano banged in 2nd half goals for the final 3-0 margin.
Abigail Dew recorded her 3rd consecutive shutout in goal for Tar Heel and was credited with 2 saves.
Coach Brett Jackson’s Lady Panthers, now 3-0, will host Clarkton School of Discovery Monday at 4 p.m.
