BLADENBORO– Williams Township outscored Bladenboro 2-0 in the penalty kick shootout after the 2 teams were knotted 2-2 at the end of regulation play in Waccamaw Middle School Conference girls’ soccer action Monday.

Ashley Rivon knocked in a 1st half goal to keep the Lady Bulldogs even 1-1 at halftime. Early in the 2nd half, Emma King drilled a shot that bounced off the Williams goalie and into the net for a 2-1 Bladenboro lead.

The Lady Aggies capitalized on a direct penalty kick with 4 minutes left in the game to score the tying goal.

It was the 2nd consecutive loss in a PK shootout for the Lady Bulldogs who are now 1-2 on the season. Bladenboro will travel to Tabor City Thursday for a 4 p.m. game.
