ELIZABETHTOWN – Jenna Brice pitched a no-hitter, and Emereau Charter exploded for 14 runs in the 1st inning and rolled to a 21-2 softball victory Monday over Mintz Christian Academy.

Brice struck out 7 in her 4 innings in the circle and allowed 2 runs on 2 hit batters and a walk to pick up the win.

Martha Simmons slammed a double, batted 3-4 and scored 3 runs to lead the Lady Aviator hitters. Leah McGill turned in a perfect 2-2 day at the plate and scored a run. Mollie Tolar finished with a 2-3 game at the plate and scored 3 runs.

Gracie Clark batted 2-4 and scored 2 runs for Emereau. Teammate Madison Sullivan hammered a double and scored 3 runs. Taylor Dowless lined a single, walked 3 times and scored 4 runs.

Pitcher Jenna Brice smacked a single and scored a run. Laci Bufkin walked twice and scored a run, and Aubrei Nixon walked and scored a run.

Emereau will travel to Mintz Academy in Roseboro Thursday for a 4 p.m. game.
