SOUTHPORT – South Brunswick defeated Emereau Bladen 11-1 Tuesday in non-conference middle school softball action. South scored 4 runs in the 1st inning and 5 more in the 3rd inning.
Taylor Dowless led off the game with a walk, stole 2nd and 3rd bases, and Jaimee Perkins knocked her in with a single for an early 1-0 Emereau lead.
The Lady Aviators, now 1-1, will host Clarkton School of Discovery Thursday at County Park.
