Due to incoming Tropical Cyclone 16, which is projected to bring high winds and several inches of rain that could cause flooding on the rural roads surrounding the park, Moores Creek National Battlefield will be closed Friday September 22, 2023. This will include all park trails and roads. A determination will be made about park operations for Saturday September 23, pending a thorough investigation of the safety of the park.
