Pawley’s Island, S.C. — The UMO Men’s Golf team finished in fifth place at the Spring Bulldog Clash hosted by Barton College at the Caledonia Golf & Fish Club in Pawley’s Island, S.C. Tuesday afternoon. The Trojans were highlighted by Brice Ballin coming in fourth.

The Trojans dropped two spots in the final day to take a fifth place finish out of 15 teams with a 286-287-291-864 team score for the tournament.

Brice Ballin (70-70-67-207) registered four birdies in his final round to jump up to finish fourth. Arthur Heinbach (71-70-74-215) also had a top-10 tournament starting off his final round with a birdie on no. 1 and collected another before making the turn to take a t-9 finish. Ruben van der Berg was the last Trojan inside the top-20 finishing t-19 with a (74-74-70-218) card and a team-high five birdies in the third round.

Rounding out the Trojan card was Cade Hancock of Elizabethtown (71-73-81-225) as he took a t-39 finish. Edvin Perman (78-76-80-234) hit even par in 9-of-18 holes in his final round finishing t-61.

Up Next: Mount Olive will compete next at the Barton Intercollegiate March 14-15 in Wilson, N.C.
