On May 3, 96 members of the Senior Golf Amateur Organization played a scheduled tournament at Vineyard Golf At White Lake. This organization consists of any amateur who would like to play in a one day tournament that has five flights, which allows any player, no matter his skill level, to compete.
The winners at the May 3 event at Vineyard were:
• Championship (0-3.9 handicap) Eli Villanueva 69
• A Flight (4.0-8.9 handicap) Richard Johnson 71
• B Flight (9.0-13.9 handicap) Ron Scott 76
• C Flight (14.0-18.9 handicap) Dean Scarboro 80
• D Flight (19.0 and over handicap) Thomas DiNoto 78.
