1. Hey, did you forget? Hope not. Today is National Grandparents Day. It has been celebrated in the U.S. since 1978 and, if you’re fortunate to have a grandparent in your life, you better call, visit or plan an outing. You’ll never know how much the grandparent will cherish it.
2. Tick! Tock! Tick! Tock! It’s less than a week until the 23rd annual Dublin Peanut Festival. Parade begins at 10 a.m. Saturday. Rides, crafts, food, music and fun centered about Dublin Primary School.
3. Bladen Builders Supply in Elizabethtown has scheduled a “Tips from Painting Professionals” seminar Tuesday from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the store on Swanzy Street. Coffee and croissants will be served.
