CHAPEL HILL – Seven Bladen County tennis players – 4 from East Bladen and 3 from West Bladen – will begin play Friday in the Class 2A Girls’ Tennis Mid East Regional at Cedar Falls Park in East Chapel Hill. Play will begin at 1 p.m.
West Bladen sophomores Kaden Thurman and Lainey Autry, the Three Rivers Conference doubles champions, will compete in doubles play. West Bladen senior Marley Fletcher will play in the singles tournament.
East Bladen seniors Lily Lin and Alyssa Futrell, the TRC doubles runners-up, will play in the doubles tournament along with the East Bladen doubles team of senior Carlie West and junior Heather Hardin.
