ROCKY MOUNT – The Bladen County 10-and-Under Boys All-Stars dropped a 7-1 decision to Burlington Saturday but still advanced to the medal round of the Statewide Activities Committee (SWAC) State Tournament.
The Bladen All-Stars were the runners-up in Pool C by virtue of their victory Friday night over Graham and thus advanced to the medal round. They will play Sunday at 9 a.m.
Members of the Bladen team are: Braxton Forster, Roberto Sandoval Bravo, Andre Garcia, Miguel Chavez, Saeed McElveen, Edgar Sanchez, Wake Wells, Manuel Esparza, Ryder Moffat, Logan Paniagua, Daniel Lopez Sandoval and Ian Ayala.
Mike Forster is the head coach of the Bladen all-stars and is assisted by Joseph Williams.
