Interesting article recently quoting Richard Petty on his thoughts related to Dale Earnhardt, Jr’s return to full time racing. Earnhardt was out of racing late last season for treatment of concussions. Petty says he (Earnhardt) has nothing to prove and a bright future regardless of the path he chooses. Junior is in his early 40s.
The 59th running of the event, the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race will be held on Sunday, February 26, 2017, a couple of weeks away.
