Sunny, today (Church Day) with a high near 39 and wind gusts as high as 15 mph … Hold on to your bonnet, cap, hat, whatever … Clear tonight with a low around 19 … calm wind.

Monday, sunny with a high near 51 and light and variable wind … and a steady increase in temps for a while. Temps will move up into the 70s beginning Wednesday … Chance of rain Wednesday thru Saturday in the 30% to 50% range…

PGA leaders going into the final round of play … Nick Dunlap, a 20-year old University of Alabama sophomore, fired a 12-under par round to take a three-shot lead in the American Express golf tournament being played in Palm Springs, California. If he continues to lead after today’s final round, he will become the first amateur to win on the PGA tour in 33 years. Sam Burns trails by 3, Justin Thomas by 4, after 3 rounds of play … If Dunlap has the low score after today’s play, he will not receive the first place prize of $1.5 million.
