Thoughts While Shaving
Spread the love

The COVID-19 issue has adversely affected so many, but none more than those in our public school system … In and out of school, mostly out … Hopefully they will return soon … and teachers can assess … Guess I am judging as if I were the student … I needed to be in school when I was a youngster … Didn’t think so then…

So, now that Congress has approved the stimulus package … And, if eligible, what are your plans for the extra cash?

Stock market going wild … Up, down … many are in, one way or another … retirement funds, 401ks, etc.

NC 242 between Elizabethtown and Bladenboro is closed, just as they said it would be … hopefully preparing for re-paving soon…

So often we complain about the weather, too hot, too cold, too much rain, not enough rain … Weather has been perfect for the past couple of days … Another near perfect day is forecast for today…

Sunny, with a high near 80, a little windy with gusts as high as 16 mph. Partly cloudy tonight, low in mid 50s. Cools off Saturday, mostly cloudy, with a high near 67 … Sunday a 30% chance of rain, high near 67…

Daylight Saving Time begins early Sunday morning … Spring forward … The clock on my vehicle will be correct, again.

First day of Spring is a week from tomorrow … March 20.

COVID-19 kills … get your shot … Uncle Sam has paid for it … with our money…

“That is one good thing about this world … There are always sure to be more springs.” L.M. Montgomery

“Spring adds new life and new beauty to all that is.” Jessica Harrelson

“Despite the forecast, live like it’s spring.” Lilly Pulitzer
